Raysid is the iOS companion app for the RAYSID CsI(Tl) gamma spectrometer.

Connect to your RAYSID over Bluetooth and see radiation in real time:

• Live count rate (CPS) and dose rate (µSv/h) • Accumulated dose and yearly projection • 33-bin coarse histogram for quick scanning • 1800-channel high-resolution spectrum with log or linear axis • Automatic isotope identification against a built-in library of 43 reference spectra (natural, medical, and industrial isotopes) • Device threshold alarms with phone notifications, sound, and haptic • Phone-side Geiger clicks through the speaker, AirPods, or car audio • Export the high-resolution spectrum as a standards-compliant N42 file • Local radiation map: record your readings geotagged to where you took them, view them by count rate or dose, with an optional community layer. Recorded only while the app is open; your map stays on your device.

You'll need a RAYSID device to use this app. Your measurements, location, and recorded map stay on your phone - nothing is uploaded.
