Test Your Speakers plays a test signal through each home theater channel. Hear every speaker from your seat, find routing and level problems, check bass handoff and phase, then save a clear list of what to inspect. Your first complete check and report are free.

TEST EACH CHANNEL Choose a layout your Apple TV audio route can address. Test Your Speakers plays an identification signal through one channel at a time, then uses pink noise for main and surround speaker levels. LFE is checked separately because subwoofer level and bass management work differently.

FIND WHAT NEEDS FIXING The report shows what you confirmed by ear, what failed, and what you skipped. Use it after changing a receiver setting, moving the subwoofer, or reconnecting a speaker. Test Your Speakers does not claim to measure the room.

USE FREE SPEAKER TOOLS Channel ID, Tone, Noise, and the 20–200 Hz Bass Sweep stay free. Use Channel ID when a surround sounds wrong. Use the Bass Sweep to listen for peaks, weak spots, and rattles while your receiver handles the subwoofer crossover.

MADE FOR THE LIVING ROOM Everything is designed for the Siri Remote and readable from the couch. Playback state, the active speaker, focus, and completed checks remain visually distinct on a television.

ALL LAYOUTS, CLEARLY LABELED Simple shows Stereo, 2.1, 5.1 and 7.1 first. Choose “Show all layouts” or switch to Advanced to access all 11 floor-channel PCM layouts. In the expanded list, layouts beyond the Apple TV route's capacity remain visible with their required output-channel count, but cannot be started until a matching route is available.
