Built for spearfishers and freedivers, DiveCast turns real weather data, tides, and your own dive history into clear, actionable recommendations. Stop guessing when to hit the
water — know where the best conditions are right now, later today, or later this week.

What DiveCast does:

• Today's best spot, ranked — Your saved dive sites are
scored every time you open the app, based on current wind, tide direction, solunar activity, time of day, and your own logged history at each location.

• Shelter analysis — When the wind picks up, DiveCast uses terrain elevation data to detect which of your spots are sheltered from the current wind direction. No more driving to an exposed coastline.

• Live conditions — Weather from Met.no (the Norwegian
Meteorological Institute), tide data for Norwegian harbours, moon phase, and solunar major/minor feeding
periods.

• Visual dive log — Log every dive with rating, fish count, species, visibility, sea temperature, notes, and photos. Weather and tide conditions are captured automatically at
the time of the dive.

• Trophy collection — Record personal-record catches with
photo, species, and weight. DiveCast tells you when you've broken your own record.

• AI Dive Insights — Let Claude analyze your dive history
to surface patterns you may have missed: optimal wind speeds, tide states, and conditions that have historically produced your best dives.

• AI Week Planner — Get recommended times and spots for the coming week, based on forecast data and your personal success patterns.

• Plan-a-time view — Pick a time today (morning, midday,
afternoon, evening) and DiveCast re-ranks spots for that specific hour, with a weather preview.

• Map with colored pins — Visual overview of all your
spots, with pin colors showing current conditions (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, or Exposed).

• Smart filters — Filter spots by maximum wind tolerance,
rising/falling tide, shelter status, or favorites.

Who DiveCast is for:

Spearfishers, freedivers, and anyone who plans their time
in the water around conditions. Currently optimized for the Norwegian west coast, with tide data from Sandnes,
Stavanger, and Sirevåg harbours.

Privacy first:

Your data is yours. Dive logs, photos, and spots are stored in Supabase (EU-hosted) and protected by row-level security. DiveCast does not sell, share, or use your data
