Quit Soda, Read More: Habit It

Routine Tracker, Daily Streaks

Features & Capabilities

Gradual habit plans that move at your pace. No shame, slip days are accepted. Quit smoking, drinking, sugar, or build a routine. HabitIt does the math, you just show up.

You didn't fail at quitting cold turkey because you were weak. You failed because cold turkey usually doesn't work. Most people relapse within a month. Your brain learned the habit over months. It can't unlearn it on a Tuesday.

HabitIt is the habit tracker built around that reality, not against it.

Tell the app what you want to change: three coffees a day down to one, zero cigarettes by the summer, thirty pushups every morning by fall. HabitIt builds a day-by-day plan that moves a little at a time. You drop from three cups to two-and-a-half this week. Two next week. Your body and your mood both get room to catch up.

This is how doctors taper medications. It's how runners build up for a marathon. It's how your brain actually rewires. The rest of the habit-tracker category treats real change like a checkbox and wonders why nobody sticks with it for more than a week.

What you get:

• Plans that recalculate themselves. Start a habit, quit one, or just cut back. HabitIt decides the step size and rewrites the plan when you miss a day. • One-tap logging from the home screen, a lock-screen widget, an Apple Watch complication, or Siri. Your thumb doesn't have time for a form. • Patterns most apps won't show you. "Most likely to slip at 3pm on Friday" is the kind of sentence that actually changes behavior. Checkboxes aren't. • Chains. A morning coffee triggers ten pages of a book, which triggers a two-minute stretch. The whole routine runs itself. • Money tracking. Every dollar that didn't go to takeout or a pack of cigarettes shows up on a graph you can stare at. • Replacement habits. When you stop something, the app asks what you're doing instead (takeout to home cooking, scrolling to reading). • Tools that help without lecturing: journals, mood logs, craving notes. Keep what helps. Ignore the rest. • Apple Health sync, Apple Watch app, Siri shortcuts, home and lock screen widgets, dark mode, offline.

Whatever you're trying to change:

Quitting smoking? HabitIt builds a nicotine taper from your current daily count down to zero. Track cigarettes avoided, days smoke-free, and money back in your pocket. The plan adjusts when you slip - no shame, no restart.

Stopping drinking? Build a gradual alcohol taper or go cold turkey with sober day tracking. Log cravings as they come, see what triggers them, watch your sober count climb. Works for full sobriety, sober curious, or just drinking less.

Quitting vaping? Nicotine taper plans built around vape pod counts or daily puffs. Slowly weaning your brain off nicotine works better than willpower. HabitIt does the math.

Cutting sugar or caffeine? Daily taper plans that drop your intake step by step. No headaches, no all-or-nothing.

Doomscrolling or too much phone? Set daily limits and let HabitIt taper them down. Watch your screen time graph shrink for real this time.

Building something new? Start exercising, start meditating, read more, drink more water, journal daily, build a morning routine. Same gradual-plan engine, opposite direction.

Missed a Tuesday? The app shrugs it off and rebuilds Wednesday. Nothing burns down. Nobody's grading you. Tomorrow's plan is already waiting.

User Reviews

I am using to start drinking less alcohol. It’s pretty cool i built a plan to gradually go down and put in special days and weekend goals and my habit goals updates daily on its own based on my plan. Of course I also added my watch to integrate to also track my walking goals. It’s convenient to have it all in one place. I personally don’t use the journal or to do’s but the actions I love! I track all my triggers and cravings the app actually auto detects patterns for me. I highly recommend this app really cool one!!
