EXPLORE THE HOLY LAND An interactive satellite map keeps you oriented in the landscape of Scripture. Tap any location pin to read its historical significance, associated eras, alternate names, and the exact verses that reference it. Geographic labels show mountains, roads, and regions; waterway traces follow the rivers and lakes that shaped biblical history.

FIND ANYTHING, INSTANTLY Search the entire location database by place name, alternate name, or scripture reference — Genesis 12, Joshua 3, Acts 9 — and the matching pins appear on the map. Show or hide results one by one or all at once, then let the map fly you there.

SAVE WHAT MATTERS Bookmark favorite locations so they're always a tap away. Build named saved maps that capture any combination of location pins, drawings, and imported images. Load, reorder, and swap between saved maps at any time.

MULTIPLE BIBLE TRANSLATIONS The verse references throughout the app can be read in the translation you prefer. Choose from a full library of English translations sourced live from the Free Use Bible API. The King James Version is bundled for complete offline access.

MY PLACES Add your own locations to the map alongside the curated biblical data. Give a place a name, type, scripture references, aliases, and notes — then search and pin it just like any other location. Edit an existing seed location if you have better data, or revert it with one tap.

MAP CREATOR MODE Switch on Map Creator Tools in Settings to unlock a full suite of map-making features designed for teachers, researchers, and cartography enthusiasts.

• Draw straight lines, curved routes, polygons, rectangles, circles, and text labels directly on the satellite map. Choose colors, add arrowheads to routes, and edit or delete anything at any time.

• Import any historical or hand-drawn map image from your Photos library or Files. Calibrate it to the underlying geography by matching control points — recognizable shorelines, river junctions, or city locations — until the overlay lines up with the real landscape.

• Extract color regions from imported maps as editable polygons. Tap a colored territory on the image and Sacra Tabula traces its outline, ready to recolor, reposition, or save.

• Export your work as a shareable image or save it to a named map to revisit later.

• Export and import your My Places library as a JSON file to back it up or move it between devices.

DESIGNED FOR STUDY Tips introduce key features at first use and can be reset at any time. A font size override keeps verse text comfortable for any reader. A feedback link in Settings makes it easy to send corrections or suggestions directly.
