Transcend Timer is a meditation app designed for uninterrupted practice, guiding you gently from start to finish so you can begin and conclude every session in a peaceful state of mind.

Inspired by the structure of Transcendental Meditation, Transcend Timer moves through three natural phases: a Warm Up to settle your mind, a main Meditation session, and a Cool Down to ease you back. Each transition happens quietly and automatically, so nothing pulls you out of your practice.

When your session ends, Transcend logs it directly to Apple Health as a mindfulness session. No extra steps required.

HOW IT WORKS

Warm Up A short opening period to let your mind settle before the main session begins. The timer counts down quietly in the background.

Meditation Your main practice. The default is 20 minutes, the traditional TM session length, but you can set it to whatever works for you. The screen stays on so you are never left in the dark.

Cool Down A gentle closing period to transition out of meditation naturally, without jarring yourself back to the world.

All three phases run automatically, one after the other. Start the timer and let go.
