WHY WE BUILT IT

Hi, I'm Cem. I built Papa while my wife Yekbun was pregnant with our first son, Levi. We're an expat couple in the Netherlands, and our first pregnancy was incredible — and confusing. Every pregnancy app we tried spoke to mothers. Nothing was written for dads trying to figure out kraamzorg, geboorteverlof, and what the hell a combinatietest is.

So I made the thing I wished I'd had.
