A pixel garden you nurture
Your habits grow. Miss a day and they wilt. Keep your streak and watch them bloom.
Your habits deserve to be alive. Pixelgarden turns every daily habit into a pixel-art plant that grows when you show up, and wilts when you don't.
Your Garden is Alive:
Every habit you track becomes a living plant. Check in and it grows. Miss a day and it wilts. Miss three days and it dies, saying goodbye with a personal last message. It's not a checklist. It's a garden you have to keep alive.
Plants grow through five stages: Seed, Sprout, Leafy, Budding, Flowering. Reach full bloom and your plant floats gently, idle and content. Neglect it and watch it wilt. The stakes are small. The feeling is not.
What Grows In Pixelgarden:
• 6 pixel-art plants: Flower, Cactus, Fern, Bonsai, Succulent, Mushroom, each drawn in code with no image files • Tap once to check in. Confetti falls. A soft chime plays. That's it. • Track any habit with a custom name and frequency (daily or specific days of the week) • A 28-day contribution grid shows exactly when you showed up • Per-plant streak counts and a garden health banner keep the big picture visible • Home screen and lock screen widgets so your garden is always one glance away
Your Plants Have Feelings:
When a plant dies, it doesn't just disappear. A farewell screen appears, and your plant speaks:
Flower: "I gave you everything I had. Every petal was a day you showed up." Cactus: "Even I needed you. Three days was too long. I'll be waiting in the soil." Bonsai: "Patience brought me this far. Come back when you're ready."
Every plant type has its own goodbye. You can plant again and start fresh, or let it go. Either way, it meant something.
Share Your Garden:
Share your garden as a link, free for everyone. Anyone with the link can see your plants in read-only mode, with their current stage and streak. No account needed on either end.
When a friend sees a wilting plant in your garden, they can water it once a day. A watered plant gets a bonus check-in that might just save it. When you open Pixelgarden, a quiet toast tells you who came through for you.
The Garden Wall is a public feed of gardens that other users have chosen to share. Scroll through real gardens, see the Plant of the Week, and visit any garden that catches your eye. Share yours to appear on the wall.
