I signed up because I was offered $20 to give to a charity. Great, right? It was only AFTER I signed up that I learned that I had to pay for a subscription in order to give the $20. Had I known this I would not have downloaded the app. I will delete it.

To me, Ritmo is a champion in the work that they’re doing. I myself have not seen a team that is so dedicated to understanding the user experience and making sure that they iterate in a positive direction. That said, I’m really eager to see how this app develops. For someone who is Gen Z or a very tech savvy millennial, this type of giving is a form that feels more native to a society that is chronically online. It also shows that are giving does it need to be a lump sum that we contribute at the end of the year or for milestone moments. I love how this naturally becomes part of one’s lifestyle and patterns of contribution. Looking forward to what’s next with the app! As someone who has committed my life to the mission of improving the world we live in, I sincerely believe that this organization is on an upward trajectory to do good and have us participate in that benevolent work. Shout out to the founding team, as a user, it was a privilege getting to know them thus far because of how much they value the user experience.
