Retora Installer

Retora Installer is the field app for installation teams whose organisation runs on Retora. It puts the day's jobs, the site checklist, photo evidence and manager sign-off in one place, and it keeps working when the signal does not.

You need an account set up by your organisation's Retora administrator to sign in. There is no self-service sign-up in the app.

BUILT FOR THE VAN, THE STOCKROOM AND THE SHOP FLOOR Open the app and your next job is the first thing you see, with its time window, the address and one-tap directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze. Start the job on site, work through the checklist the office has set, capture the photos each question asks for, collect the manager's name, role and signature, and submit. If you are interrupted, the app puts you back on the question you were working on.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL Every job you have opened is saved on the phone. Answers autosave as you type. Photos and reports captured with no connection queue on the device and send themselves when you are back in signal. The app is honest about what has and has not reached the office: a report shows as "Saved on this phone" or "Submitted for review", and any job with work still to upload says so on its card. If an upload fails after repeated attempts it stays on the phone with a Retry; nothing is silently dropped.

SEE YOUR WORK YOUR WAY The Jobs list groups work into Sent back, Overdue, Today, Tomorrow and the days ahead, so anything a reviewer has returned is always at the top with their reason. Search by job reference, store or postcode; combine date, project and status filters; save the combinations you use most. The Board shows the same jobs as To Do, In Progress, Blocked and Done columns, so you can see where everything stands and act from the card. The Calendar shows the month or the week, with a day view of every visit.

SAFETY ONE TAP FROM EVERYWHERE Safety sits on the navigation bar on every screen. Press and hold SOS to alert your organisation's responders with your location, then use the emergency chat to keep them informed. UK emergency numbers are one tap away.

WHAT IT DOES • Sign in with email and password; unlock with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, even offline • Home: next job, directions, shift start and end, today's overview and a map of your jobs • Jobs: grouped list, search, filters, saved views and a four-column board • Job screen: checklist questions (yes/no, options, numbers, text), photos from camera or gallery, minimum photo counts set by the office, visit date and time, site timer • Outcomes: Completed, On hold or Aborted, each with its own requirements and a review sheet before anything is sent • Sign-off: authorised person's name and role, with a signature pad • Offline-first: drafts, photos and reports queue on the phone and sync when you have signal • Calendar with month and week views • Pay: earnings by month with Pending, Awaiting Review, Approved and Paid totals, plus the amount awaiting payment across all months • Safety: hold-to-send SOS, emergency chat with quick replies, emergency numbers and safety procedures • In-app notifications and coordinator announcements • Light and dark themes, and text that follows your iOS text size

LOCATION Your location is recorded only while you have a shift running, so your coordinator can see where you are and reach you if a job changes. It stops the moment you end the shift, and you can withdraw consent in Settings at any time.
