Overdub Studio in Your Pocket
Record yourself in layers — instantly.
No timeline. No DAW. No setup. Just press record.
An idea turns up and starts leaving almost immediately. Overdubber is built for that window: press record, play or sing, press stop. Press record again and put something on top while the first part plays back. Repeat until the idea is out of your head and into something you can listen to.
Everything happens on one screen.
Start and stop a take from the Action Button or by asking Siri — so you never have to find a button with an instrument in your hands.
COUNT IN, STACK ON THE BEAT
Set a tempo from 30 to 300 BPM and get counted in before the tape rolls — four beats by default, or as many as you want. Your first take lands on the beat instead of somewhere near it, and everything after stacks against the same click.
LOOP LIKE A PEDAL
Tap loop while recording to set the loop length and start overdubbing straight away, the way a hardware looper works. Or turn it on during playback to cycle a section while you work out the next part.
TRIM THE TAKE, KEEP THE IDEA
Tap a layer to trim it, fade it in or out, or move it in time. Nothing is destructive — the take you recorded is still underneath, and Reset puts it back.
MIX AND BALANCE EVERY LAYER
Volume, pan and mute on each layer. Turn the knobs to place parts across the stereo field, try combinations, and shape the mix before you export. It's all non-destructive.
SEE WHAT YOU PLAYED
Live waveforms while you record. Spot silence, clipping and timing at a glance, and scrub smoothly through playback.
TAPE WARMTH
One knob of analog-style saturation, for warmth and glue. Add a little, push it for lo-fi character, or leave it clean.
EXPORT
Supports M4A, WAV, and stems in a .zip with Premium — unzip and it's ready for the DAW.
Save to Files, AirDrop to your Mac, or share to any app.
PROJECTS
Your work saves itself. Come back whenever — the layers and the mix are where you left them.
MAKE IT YOURS
Four looks, from clean and modern to VU meters and tape. Three of them are Premium.
ACCESSIBILITY
VoiceOver reads the whole recording flow — the transport, the layer count, the mixer, the clip editor. Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion are respected, and every theme meets WCAG AA contrast. On iPhone and iPad.
