Spark Words makes learning sight words fun and easy for young readers!

Spark Words covers 400 essential sight words across four progressive word lists — Starter, Explorer, Builder, and Champion — giving every child a clear path from their very first words all the way to confident, fluent reading.

LEARN WITH FLASHCARDS

Each word is presented on a bright, colourful flashcard with a large, kid-friendly font. Children can tap the word or the speaker icon to hear it pronounced clearly by a natural-sounding voice. Every word comes with an example sentence so kids can understand how the word is used — for example, "The sun is warm." The sight word is highlighted in the sentence so it's easy to spot.

FOUR WORD LISTS, 10 LEVELS EACH

Start with Starter and work through Explorer, Builder, and Champion as confidence grows. Each list has 10 levels of 10 words, progressing from simple high-frequency words like "I", "and", and "the" to more advanced words like "beautiful", "sentence", and "champion". Kids can mark words as learned along the way, and the progress bar shows which words have been mastered at a glance.

QUIZ MODE

Ready for a challenge? Each level includes a fun quiz where words appear in random order. A parent or teacher marks whether the child recognises each word correctly. At the end, the quiz shows a score — like 8 out of 10 — along with a list of any words that need more practice. Score a perfect 10 out of 10 and enjoy a spectacular fireworks celebration!
