Atfagni

Atfagni — which means “Take me to” in Hassania — is a community-based ride-sharing app created to help the Sahrawi community travel more easily between cities.

Whether you are in Europe, Mauritania, or the Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf, Atfagni helps connect passengers with drivers from the Sahrawi community who are already planning a trip and have available seats in their car.

The idea is simple: drivers publish their rides, passengers search for trips between cities, and when a driver accepts a booking request, the passenger can contact the driver directly to arrange the journey.

Atfagni is built on the strong values of trust and solidarity that exist within the Sahrawi community. To make managing your trips even more convenient, we have introduced an in-app wallet. Staying true to our accessible approach, there are no online bank payments. All wallet top-ups and balances are handled entirely by cash at designated physical Atfagni points located in the camps and Mauritania.
