TIA is a part of UTBF, which was founded in 1992 by Chief Patron H.E. Dr. Trungram Gyaltrul Rinpoche with centers in Nepal, the U.S.A., Malaysia, Singapore, and Germany. Dedicated to the enlightenment and education of people worldwide, UTBF promotes principles of peace, non-violence, social justice, and mutual understanding. As a private, co-educational, English medium boarding and day school located in Kathmandu Valley, TIA reflects these values by fostering a spirit of brotherhood and tolerance towards all human beings, motivating everyone to dedicate themselves to creating a peaceful, just, happy, and meaningful life on Earth.
