Features & Capabilities

One of your friends is lying. Uncover the Traitor, master secret Courtier Roles, interrogate suspects and decide who the Court can truly trust.

One of you is hiding the truth. Can the Court expose them?

Court of Lies is a social deduction party game about truth, deception, suspicion, and how well you really know your friends.

Everyone is secretly given a role. Most players fight for the Loyalist side, while hidden among the Court is a Traitor whose job is to lie, blend in, and survive the final vote.

Answer questions. Compare stories. Catch contradictions. Defend yourself. Accuse your friends.

Then pass judgement.

HOW IT WORKS

• Loyalists answer truthfully • The Traitor must lie • Answer questions and learn how your friends think • Discuss anything that seems suspicious • Use Courtier Roles and their special abilities • Vote for who you believe should leave the Court • Expose the Traitor before they deceive everyone

Simple rules. Much harder when your friends are convincing liars.

20 QUESTION GENRES

With 20 different genres of questions, conversations can go absolutely anywhere.

From ridiculous questions and personal opinions to friendships, music, the internet, drinking, debates and everything in between, every game gives the Court something new to argue about.

OVER 5,000 PROMPTS

With more than 5,000 prompts, there’s enough variety to keep games unpredictable.

You might know how your friends should answer...

But do you know when they're lying?

COURTIER ROLES

Not everyone in the Court plays by the same rules.

Alongside the Loyalist and Traitor are optional Courtier Roles with unique information, powers and objectives:

• Accomplice • Double Agent • Assassin • Whisperer • Martyr • Inquisitor • Noble • Chancellor • Royal Guard

Some help the Loyalists. Some help the Traitor. Others have objectives of their own.

So someone acting suspiciously isn't necessarily the Traitor.

INTERROGATION

Games can also include Interrogations that interrupt normal play and put players directly under pressure.

Answer carefully.

The Court is listening.

PERFECT FOR

• Parties • Pre-drinks • Game nights • Nights in with friends • Ice-breakers • Finding out far too much about your mates

EXPECT

Suspicious answers. Terrible excuses. Wild accusations. Secret alliances. Questionable courtroom logic. People defending themselves far too aggressively.

And plenty of:

“I SWEAR I’M TELLING THE TRUTH!”

The question isn't whether someone is lying.

It's whether the Court can expose them before it's too late.
