Where supported by the selected wind method, the engine also accounts for headwind and tailwind effects, while Ballistic Breakdown visualizes all applicable corrections.

Connect a supported Bluetooth anemometer when available, then use Wind Call’s Gradient workflow to estimate effective downrange wind.

On the Gradient page, capture a low-to-high wind range from a live Bluetooth stream or build one manually around an average wind value. With Advanced Ballistics active, the midpoint is used for the main firing solution, while meaningful low-to-high elevation and windage brackets are derived from full ballistic calculations—a feature requested by power users.

There are two main ways to use the app:

• Advanced Ballistics mode calculates a complete in-app firing solution using the selected rifle/ammo profile, current atmosphere, target distance, and wind input from multiple wind-reading methods.

• Wind Reader Only mode gives you a usable crosswind value from 3 or 9 o’clock for use with your preferred external solver, on a DOPE card, or during rapid target engagements using Quick Wind / Gun Number training.

Instead of guesswork, Wind Call provides a structured and repeatable approach to reading the wind across different terrain types and weather conditions.
