Calendar reminders made simple
Type "Doctor Friday at 3pm"—it's in your calendar with reminders, no account. Family can text you an appointment to add in one tap. Made for seniors, works for everyone.
Type your appointment the way you'd say it out loud — "Doctor on Friday at 3pm" or "Grocery run tomorrow morning" — and KindKeep saves it to Apple Calendar with automatic reminders set. No forms, no date pickers, no account.
HOW IT WORKS
- Tap Add and type your appointment naturally
- Review the confirmation card — see the parsed title and date before anything is saved
- Tap Save. The event lands in Apple Calendar with two reminders already attached.
If KindKeep misreads something, tap Edit to correct it and try again. No limit on attempts.
AUTOMATIC REMINDERS
Every appointment gets two reminders set automatically:
• Evening before at 8PM — a "prepare for tomorrow" heads-up
• 2 hours before — an actionable reminder to leave on time
Reminders fire through Apple Calendar's notification system, so they arrive even when KindKeep is not open.
SEND AN APPOINTMENT TO SOMEONE
Helping a parent or grandparent keep track of their schedule? You don't have to be next to them to add an appointment. On the Add screen, tap the ••• menu and choose "Send to someone." Type the appointment, then share the link by text message.
When they receive it, KindKeep shows a friendly banner on their phone. They tap Review to see the appointment, then Save — and it lands on their calendar with the very same two reminders. Nothing is added until they accept, so they stay in control. (You'll both just need KindKeep installed.)
WHAT'S NEXT TAB
See the next 7 days at a glance — pulled from all your calendars, not just events added through KindKeep. Today and tomorrow always appear, even when empty; the rest of the week shows up as appointments come along.
READ ALOUD
Tap Read Aloud on the Upcoming screen to hear your schedule spoken out loud. KindKeep reads each day's appointments — title and time — in a clear, unhurried voice. Supports English and Chinese. No setup, no extra permissions. Tap Stop to silence it, or switch tabs and it stops automatically.
VOICE INPUT
Tap the microphone on the iPhone keyboard and speak your appointment. KindKeep handles dictated text the same as typed text. No special setup required.
ENGLISH AND CHINESE
KindKeep understands natural language in both English and Chinese. Type "下周五下午三点,看医生" and it parses the date correctly. The full app interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese (简体中文), and Traditional Chinese (繁體中文).
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All date parsing happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. KindKeep has no server and makes no network calls — there's nothing to sign in to and nowhere for your data to go. When you send an appointment to someone, it travels through your own Messages, not through KindKeep.
NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
KindKeep saves directly to Apple Calendar. No sign-up, no subscription, no cloud service to configure.
DESIGNED FOR SENIORS
KindKeep was built for people who find Apple Calendar's multi-step entry flow too complicated — and who end up relying on family members for last-minute reminders. The goal: type one line, get two reminders, never miss an appointment.
For family members setting it up: it takes under a minute. Show them one example, hand them the phone, and they're done — or send their first appointment straight to their phone with a link.
