What Problem Does Yummy Places Solve? Where is your list of Restaurants, Bars, Bakeries, Breweries, and other types of businesses that you frequent? Maybe one or more locations like Notes, Messages, Social Media, Yelp, Google Maps, Apple Maps? You have Pins, lists of Pins in different apps? Then when someone asks for a recommendation, you are searching around for that list where you have that Place so that you can share the information? Or, someone gives you a recommendation; where do you record it?

How Does Yummy Places Help? Yummy Places is created to organize this type of information. Yummy Places is the one stop app for your personal curated list of Places. You can view your Places in list form or placed geographically on the included map. Searching and Filtering are easily executed, then sharing one or dozens or hundreds of Places with a friend or friends is convenient. They can easily import into their Yummy Places.

Trip Planning Taking a Trip? Create a Trip then add your Yummy Places to the Trip itinerary. Set reservation times, add notes, it’s all there. Taking a Trip with others? Of course you are! You can use the collaboration feature to share the Trip with your travel companions then y’all can collaborate on the Trip. You see near realtime edits to the Trip by everyone. Enable/disable alerts for the Trip activity so you can see ongoing planning from your team.

But My Places, I Have Already Created Lists!!! Yummy Places of course provides the convenient addition of Places by searching a name or searching in the included map. All data for the searches comes from Apple Map data. But what if you have those lists stored in different locations? Currently we support the import of a Place or list of Places from: Apple Maps, Google Maps and Yelp.

PRIVACY FIRST Your data, your control. Yummy Places stores data on your device and backs up to your Apple Cloud. If you have multiple devices then your Yummy Places data will sync across your Apple devices. Note: You must enable iCloud data for this feature to work. Further, your data is your data!
