RTL Medical is a HIPAA-compliant task management app designed for hospital teams. Nurses, residents, and attending physicians use it to organize patient rooms, assign clinical tasks, track lab values, and coordinate care across shifts.

ORGANIZE BY ROOM Create and manage patient rooms grouped by building and floor. Reorder rooms to match your rounding sequence. Each room serves as a central hub for tasks, lab results, and clinical alerts.

SMART TASK MANAGEMENT Assign tasks across nine categories: Labs, I/Os, Imaging, Consults, Meds, Procedures, Discharge, Follow-up, and Other. Set recurring schedules (daily, weekdays, weekly, or monthly) for standing orders. Tasks automatically carry over between shifts to prevent missed work.

LAB VALUES & CLINICAL ALERTS Record lab results directly on tasks using quick-pick options for common labs such as HGB, WBC, PLT, Cr, BUN, K, Na, Lactate, Troponin, and INR. View trend sparklines and receive automatic color-coded alerts for critical values or significant changes.

I/O TRACKING Track 14 intake and output types, including urine, chest tube, NG, and drain output. Values are automatically normalized to mL/hr with configurable display periods (hourly, 8-hour, 12-hour, or 24-hour).

TEAM COLLABORATION Create teams and invite members by email or join code. Assign tasks to individuals, view all personal assignments in the "My Tasks" section, and receive notifications for new assignments or critical lab values.

HIPAA COMPLIANCE The app stores no patient names, dates of birth, or diagnoses. Rooms are identified only by number. Built-in PHI detection warns users before protected health information is entered. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
