Jade Codex is a traditional Chinese almanac that knows your chart.

Every day it opens on a complete 黄历 day page: the lunar date, the day's 干支 stem and branch, the 建除 day officer, the 值神 presiding spirit, the lunar mansion (二十八宿), the 彭祖百忌 caution, the clash animal, the auspicious directions, and the full 宜 and 忌 lists of what the day favours and what it does not.

All of it is computed on your iPhone. Solar-term instants come from Meeus astronomy; the 宜/忌 tables are reproduced from 《钦定协纪辨方书》, the Qing imperial almanac of 1741, which is in the public domain and cited inside the app on a Sources & Lineage screen. Nothing is invented, and nothing is sent anywhere.
