Beat the daily news quiz.
Can you beat today's real-news challenge? Play a quick daily round, explain your call by voice or text, and compare your score.
Can you beat today's real-news challenge? Anti-Fakes turns that split-second "wait, is this right?" feeling into a quick daily quiz.
Each round uses a short real news excerpt. Your job is simple: decide whether the reasoning holds up, then say why. Maybe the story is solid. Maybe a true detail is being stretched too far. Maybe the missing context is doing all the work.
Play Easy Mode for a 3-question warm-up or Hard Mode for the full 5-question challenge. Answer by voice or text, get AI feedback, and see how your score, streak, and reasoning skills stack up over time.
Why people play
- One official daily challenge to beat
- Real news, not made-up trivia
- Easy Mode: 3 lighter questions for a quick warm-up
- Hard Mode: 5 tougher questions for the full challenge
- Voice or typed answers, so you can explain your call
- A mix of solid and suspicious reasoning
- AI feedback after every answer
- Recaps with your score, mode, streak, and optional share link
- English and Traditional Chinese content
What you get better at
- Catching claims that sound bigger than the evidence
- Separating true facts from bad conclusions
- Spotting missing context
- Explaining why something feels off
- Recognizing when a story actually holds together
This is not homework. It is a daily brain game for the internet we already live in: read, decide, explain, and try to beat your score tomorrow.
Why voice?
Spotting shaky claims takes more than tapping true or false. The real skill is being able to explain yourself. Anti-Fakes gives you a short window to say your reasoning out loud. If speaking is not convenient, type instead.
Privacy and accounts
First launch lets you choose a language and nickname. No account is required to play. The app starts with an anonymous player ID. On iOS, you can optionally link Google or Apple to keep progress tied to the same player, and you can delete cloud progress from Profile.
Before scored gameplay starts, Anti-Fakes asks for permission to use AI scoring. Voice answers send a short audio clip for speech-to-text transcription; typed answers skip audio. The answer text and news excerpt are sent securely for AI feedback. The microphone is used only while you choose to record an answer. Gameplay, crash, and performance events are stored through Firebase so the game can improve.
