Your loans are now grouped by status: Overdue at the top (red), Due this week (yellow), everything else Active (green) — you see at once what needs attention. New on top: search and filter icons right in the title bar (e.g. "money only", "overdue only"), direction filter with live counts, new loan via FAB bottom right, compact cards with avatar and days shown big on the right.

Add your drill, camping tent or favourite book once — then link them to any loan with a tap. With photo, description, and a colour indicator that immediately shows whether an item is currently available or lent out.

• General: counts, money totals, average loan duration • Items: most-loaned items, what's currently out, longest loan duration per item, availability overview • People: top contacts, punctuality per person (avg days late + % on time), what they like to borrow • Archive: every returned loan, chronologically

▸ QR HANDOVER WITH CONFIRMATION

For both lending and returning, both sides scan a QR code. Whoever scans now sees a confirmation dialog with contact + item/amount first — no more accidentally accepting the wrong loan.

LoanedOut stores everything exclusively on your device. There is no server your loans, contacts or photos are sent to. No account, no subscription lock-in, no internet needed to work.

There's another benefit: we can't "switch off" this app. It doesn't depend on any running server infrastructure — whatever happens to us as a provider, your app and your data keep working.

Optionally, back up to iCloud (iOS) or your own Google Drive — so your data stays safe even when you switch devices.

1. Tap the round + button and create a new loan
2. Pick a contact, take condition photos for objects
3. Generate a QR code and share it — the other person scans and confirms
4. On return: let them scan or tap "Mark as returned"
