Between Us Birdies

Okay I am dead serious I need every woman who golfs to download this RIGHT NOW. A one stop shop to help the anxieties of golf as a woman go away?Where has this been all my life. No more booking a tee time and crossing your fingers it’s not gonna be a mess from tees that don’t make sense for your game. This app actually takes real women’s reviews of courses: how long it plays, how tough the greens are, are there bathrooms out there, what’s the food situation, how friendly the starters are to women, any and all data points that matter to women and rank a course off of it. Such a great idea but somehow nobody did it until now. There’s also a golfing archetype part, you get to find out which “birdie” you are after a short quiz. It’s rare to find an app that starts with an icebreaker but since the game is new to so many women I love this cute little way to get to know yourself as a golfer. It just makes you feel comfortable right away, and there’s something so nice about knowing there are other birdies out there just like you. Finally it has to be noted this feels like such an amazing considerate way to grow the game. Golf already has enough barriers to entry we don’t need “will this course even be fun for me” to be one more of them. An app made by women who clearly get it. Downloading this is a no brainer if you golf and you’re a woman. 10/10 no notes!
