Moony is a calm, friendly voice companion you can talk to whenever you want a moment of conversation, a bedtime story, or just someone to wind down with. Bring your own API key from OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini, pick a voice you like, and start chatting.

TWO TONES, ONE TAP Switch between Kid-friendly and Adult tone whenever you want. Kid-friendly mode uses simple words, a gentle pace, and extra-careful topic guardrails for shared family time. Adult mode keeps a natural conversational style for everyday chats.

YOUR KEY, YOUR DATA Moony never resells AI access. You add your own provider key, and your audio and transcripts go directly to that provider. Keys are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Remove a key any time from Settings.

CHOOSE A VOICE THAT FEELS RIGHT Pick from a curated set of natural voices, including warm, bright, deep, and playful options. Preview any voice before saving. Voices stay consistent across sessions so the buddy keeps the same character.

SAVE THE STORIES YOU LIKE Each conversation is saved on your device. Re-open a saved chat to continue where you left off, or delete the ones you no longer want. Free plan keeps a small history; the paid plan unlocks unlimited saves.

CUSTOM AVATARS Pick a friendly default buddy, or upload a photo to create a custom avatar that feels familiar. Custom photo avatars are part of the paid plan.

WORKS IN YOUR LANGUAGE Moony's interface and conversation tone are localized in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, and Spanish. Set the display language and the AI's reply language independently.
