SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPING Photograph a certificate or upload a PDF. The AI reads the title, expiry date, document type and issuing authority. You check it and save. The free plan includes 3 AI scans in total, 50 MB of storage and 20 certificates, and needs no card.

KNOW WHAT IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE Every certificate colour-coded at a glance. Teal for valid, amber for expiring soon, red for expired. A six-month renewal timeline shows what is coming, so you can book the course before it fills up. Push notifications 90, 30 and 7 days before an expiry date, plus reminder emails at 90, 60, 30, 14 or 7 days.

THE CERTIFICATES IT KNOWS 77 types, with rank and refresher variants. STCW, Certificates of Competency for deck, engineering and electro-technical, medicals including ENG1, Cayman and Marshall Islands, GMDSS, RYA, HELM, ECDIS and WSET. Competency variants follow the MCA's own structure. One Certificate of Competency card holds every endorsement you hold, OOW Unlimited to Master Unlimited, EOOW to Chief Engineer, the way your physical certificate holds them.

SEA TIME, DAY BY DAY Set your vessels up once, sign on, then tag each day as sea days, watchkeeping, standby, shipyard or onboard non-qualifying. Recurring mode fills days forward, so you do not have to open the app daily. Onboard service and qualifying sea service stay as two separate totals, the standby and shipyard caps are applied to the qualifying figure, and raw days sit beside credited days. Export as PDF or CSV, and your totals feed the Careers tab, which shows the gap to your next ticket. It is your own record, not an MCA-recognised testimonial, and YachtSync does not verify or countersign sea service.

SEND IT THE WAY THEY ASKED Set your file naming format once and every certificate downloads with the right filename. Export the whole portfolio as a ZIP in a few taps, then send it to an agent, a captain or a recruiter.

PRIVACY We never sell your data. Scanning sends the document to our AI provider, Anthropic, to read the dates, and under their terms it is not used to train their models.
