I’d love to see the app expand its marketplace search beyond the current platforms and become a true cross-platform deal discovery engine. Please add support for marketplaces such as: • Swappa • Mercari • OfferUp • Facebook Marketplace • Craigslist • Letgo • eBay • Other relevant local, resale, and specialty marketplaces The bigger opportunity, though, is intelligent deal detection, not simply searching more websites. For example, I’m currently looking for a PS Vita. A normal search might tell me that the average Vita costs around $200+, but that doesn’t tell me where the exceptional opportunities are. One particularly interesting strategy is searching for Japanese PS Vitas being shipped to the United States. Japanese sellers often use stricter grading standards, meaning something classified as imperfect or damaged in Japan can still be extremely good by U.S. marketplace standards. For example, I recently saw a PS Vita that had a tiny number of dead pixels. The imperfection was so minor that the console was otherwise essentially flawless. Because of that small defect, it was listed around $95 — dramatically below the roughly $200+ prices I was seeing for comparable Vitas in worse condition. The problem is that deals like this disappear extremely quickly. What I’d like the app to do Instead of simply letting me search for: > “PS Vita” I want to be able to create a high-interest search profile that understands: Item: PS Vita Target price: <$150 Condition: Excellent overall, minor defects acceptable Geography: Japan → United States preferred Marketplaces: All supported marketplaces Priority: Exceptional value / mispriced listings Alert speed: Immediate Then the app should continuously monitor marketplaces and ping me when an unusually good opportunity appears. The system could calculate something like a: Deal Opportunity Score For example: PS Vita — $95 Market estimate: ~$200+ Condition: Excellent except minor dead pixels Seller location: Japan Estimated value advantage: Very high Opportunity Score: 94/100 That would be much more useful than simply showing me another page of $180–$250 listings. Even better: learn what makes a deal valuable The system should recognize that: “Damaged” ≠ automatically bad A listing with: • 2 dead pixels • cosmetic scratches • missing original packaging • Japanese-region model • minor discoloration • battery degradation could potentially be a much better purchase than a supposedly “Good” $200 listing. The AI should evaluate the actual defect and determine whether the discount is disproportionate to the problem. For example: > “This Vita is $95 because of a minor screen defect. Comparable fully functional units are selling for ~$200. The defect appears unlikely to significantly affect usability, making this an unusually strong value.” Cross-marketplace arbitrage would be huge The real killer feature would be comparing the same item across marketplaces and countries. For example: PS Vita 2000 Japan: $95 Mercari US: $175 eBay: $210 Swappa: $220 Facebook Marketplace: $190 Then the app tells me: > 🚨 **Exceptional Opportunity Found** > > Japanese PS Vita — $95 > Estimated comparable value: $190–$220 > Potential savings: $95–$125 > Listing detected 34 seconds ago. That changes the app from a search tool into an opportunity detection system. I would also love “high-interest pings” Let me mark certain searches as extremely important. For example: 🔴 PS Vita — HIGH PRIORITY If something meets my criteria, notify me immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled search. The notification should contain enough information to make a rapid decision: > 🚨 PS VITA DEAL FOUND > $95 — Japan > Minor dead pixels > Otherwise excellent condition > Comparable U.S. listings: ~$200+ > **Estimated savings: $105+** > > [View Listing] This is especially important because the best marketplace deals often disappear within minutes. The ultimate version I’d love to see the app eventually become something like an AI marketplace scout. I tell it: > “I’m looking for a PS Vita under $150. I don’t care about minor cosmetic defects or small screen imperfections. Japanese units are preferred. Find me unusually good deals.” And the system continuously searches the marketplace ecosystem, evaluates listings, compares prices, understands descriptions/photos, detects undervalued items, and alerts me only when something genuinely interesting appears. That would be substantially more powerful than a conventional marketplace search. The core idea is: Don’t just search for products. Search for opportunities.
