QuickRemote is a responsive remote desktop client for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. VNC connections run directly inside QuickRemote on all three. Built-in RDP is available on iPad and Mac; Mac also offers an explicit choice to open the connection in another installed RDP app.

VNC CONNECTIONS:

• Connect to standard RFB/VNC servers, including Windows VNC servers and macOS Screen Sharing
• Leave the password blank when the server allows No Authentication, or use standard VNC password authentication
• Smooth local cursor feedback and paced framebuffer updates for responsive LAN control
• Reconnect after temporary network interruptions
• Fit, native, and percentage scaling modes

RDP BY PLATFORM:

• iPad and Mac: built-in RDP display and input inside QuickRemote
• Mac: choose built-in RDP or another installed RDP application before connecting
• iPhone: VNC only in this release
• Optional SSH tunnelling for VNC connections

DISCOVERY AND SESSIONS:

• Discover advertised VNC and RDP services with mDNS/Bonjour
• Scan the local subnet for VNC ports 5900-5902 and RDP port 3389
• Save endpoints, optional usernames, groups, and Wake-on-LAN details
• Use tabbed sessions and desktop floating panels
• View frame rate, round-trip latency, and transferred-byte statistics
