Misd helps you discover the people and places around you that matter most.

It uses a technology we call Moments® to find interactions you’ve made with others you’ve crossed paths with in real life. As you use the app and explore the map, you'll see people you've met through the places you visit most. If you both have Misd, we'll connect you.

NO NAME? NO NUMBER? NO PROBLEM! Misd helps you find them.

◆ INVITE-ONLY ◆

We're currently invite-only so we can make sure your map is filled with others who are looking to make connections too. This gives us room to grow, build better features, and make sure you have the best possible experience when you get access. We're also handing out codes regularly, so ask around if you're interested in getting in early on Misd!

◆ MOMENTS ◆

Misd is smart! Our Moments® technology places the people we think are most likely to be an authentic connection at the top of the list on your map. Explore every location you've been to, and if there's a true match, you'll find it here. Add the ones that matter and ignore the rest. Whether it's a bar, the bus home, or a work conference, Misd removes the "what if?"

◆ BUZZ ◆

See a feed with images and videos from people around you in your local area, browse entertaining posts that are going viral across the world, or comment and interact with the content and people you've found across Misd. You'll see content you're interested in and categories you actually care about.

◆ MESSAGING ◆

Private message friends and new connections. Send interesting content you find in Buzz to others you've interacted with across the app. Messaging stays private between you and the person you're messaging. Did you meet someone on the Moments® map? Send them a private message and get to know each other!

◆ CREATE ◆

Upload your own 15-second videos and images and have them appear on Buzz. Change the title and edit the description to express yourself in unique ways. Others can interact with, comment on, and share your posts. Who knows, maybe your next video goes viral. What will others buzz about you?

◆ PASSPORT ID ◆

Update your profile and make your Passport ID unique to you. Add your ethnicity, generation, gender, and more. Others across Misd and the Moments® map can find and filter this info to better identify you as you make genuine moments with others. You can hide or show as much of this as you like.

◆ KARMA AND CLOUT ◆

Build Karma for everything you do on Misd. You'll level up and climb the Clout leaderboard in your local area. Later, these points will unlock cool new features and partnerships. For now, you'll earn new badges to flex across the app depending on how much Karma you earn each month. Beware: Clout resets monthly to give everyone a chance to show off!

◆ SAFETY FEATURES ◆

Hide your personal locations from ever creating Moments® with others, choose how long it takes after you leave a location before someone can connect with you, and have your profile automatically switch to private. Misd was built from the ground up with safety in mind. We work hard to make abuse difficult and give you the freedom to use Misd and its safety features how you choose.

◆ DATA PRIVACY ◆

We take your data and security very seriously! We don't collect ANYTHING from you that we don't absolutely need to make Misd work. Even then, we find creative ways to help make what you give us secure. You can view more information below.

Currently, Misd requires users to be at least 17 years old to help keep children safe, with future updates planned for parental tools and age-related features.
