The professional learning platform for trauma-informed practitioners across the Middle East and North Africa. Educational content, events, community.
MENATA — Middle East & North Africa Trauma Alliance
MENATA is a professional learning and community platform for trauma-informed practitioners, students, and members of the public across the Middle East and North Africa.
This is a psychoeducational space — a place to learn about trauma-informed practice, network with other professionals, attend live and recorded events, and access curated educational resources. MENATA is not a clinical service, not a diagnostic tool, and not a replacement for therapy, counselling, or emergency care.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Educational resources — articles, recorded webinars, audio courses, and self-paced learning material from regional and international contributors with expertise in trauma-informed practice
• Live and on-demand events — workshops, seminars, and continuing professional development sessions
• Member community — connect with trauma-informed professionals across the MENA region; post questions, share research, and discuss educational topics in a moderated space
• Professional directory — discover and connect with peers by specialty, country, or training
• Curated toolkits — reading lists, educational reference materials, and learning resources for trauma-informed practice
MEMBERSHIP TIERS

• Professional — qualified mental health professionals and supervisors
• Associate — early-career practitioners and supervisees
• Affiliate — adjacent professions (researchers, educators, social workers)

WHO IT'S FOR

IMPORTANT — NOT A CLINICAL SERVICE
MENATA provides educational and professional learning content only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or prescribe, and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, counselling, or emergency care. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a regional crisis line.
