THE FIXED CALENDAR The International Fixed Calendar was proposed in the early 20th century as a rational alternative to the Gregorian calendar. It includes one special day per year — Year Day (31 March) — and a Leap Day every 4 years (16 September). Both sit outside the regular month structure, keeping every month identical.
