音訓 (on-kun) is a focused flashcard app for the on'yomi and kun'yomi readings of all 160 2nd-grade Japanese kanji — now with animated stroke order on every character.

STROKE ORDER, ANIMATED Tap a card in study mode and the character draws itself, one stroke at a time, in the correct order. A faint outline shows where each stroke is heading, and the stroke being drawn is highlighted so your eye can follow along. Every character is rendered from real stroke-order data, not a font.

STUDY MODE Browse all 160 kanji at your own pace. Swipe to navigate, tap to flip and watch the strokes. Shuffle the deck or work in order. No timer, no score, no pressure.

EXAM MODE Test yourself against the full shuffled deck. Swipe right if you remembered the reading, left if you forgot. Each card flips to reveal the answer with colour-coded feedback, and you can tap to correct yourself before moving on. At the end you get a grade, a score breakdown, and a grid showing exactly which kanji need more work.

PRACTICE MODE Unlocked after three exams. The app tracks your history and builds a deck from your weakest kanji — the ones you forget more often than you remember. Clear them all and you'll see "Nothing to practice!"
