Features & Capabilities

Spell Strike Junior turns spelling practice into a mission.

Train solo through 26 missions or challenge your family in fast-paced spelling duels — all on one device. With Kokoro voice reading every word and definition aloud, Spell Strike Junior makes building a strong vocabulary feel like a game, not homework.

— TRAINING MODE — Work through 26 missions across three grade levels — 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade vocabulary. Kokoro reads each word and its definition aloud before you spell it. Get instant feedback, spelling tips, word origins, and context sentences after every attempt.

— BATTLE MODE — Pass the device and let the duels begin. Up to 4 players take turns spelling words at their own difficulty level — from 3rd grade all the way to Adult.

Standard Mode: classic turn-by-turn spelling duels. Blitz Mode: a 15-second timer keeps every round intense. Elimination Mode: one wrong answer and you're out. A winner is crowned with a full scoreboard at the end.

— BUILT FOR FAMILIES — Every player picks their own difficulty — kids play at their grade level while adults face harder words. Mix generations, mix skill levels, and still have a fair fight.

FEATURES • 26 missions free — no subscription required to train • Six difficulty levels in Battle Mode: Grade 3, 4, 5, 6-8, 9-12, and Adult • Kokoro voice reads every word and definition aloud • Battle Mode: Standard, Blitz, and Elimination formats • Up to 4 players on one device • Multiple profiles with separate progress tracking • Colorblind-friendly mode • Custom sound themes • No ads — ever

User Reviews

My 9 year old son loves this game, however, only Mission A will work. We have tried it on multiple devices and the website and none of them will move on and load the second (or any of the other) mission. It will say “loading” but then says there is an error and takes you make to the main screen. So that is disappointing. Hopefully there will be an update and it will work beyond the first mission soon. I think the idea is great. The game (first level anyway) is engaging and fun for kids. It just needs to load future missions. If you replay Mission A it always has the same words, as well. So you can’t replay the first level with new words. I am hopeful this app and the website will work beyond the first level soon. 🤞🏻 Update: The developer of this app has fixed the issue and now my son is able to progress to additional levels! I am changing my rating to 5 stars as it is now working as expected.
