Red Messiah is the official companion app for the tabletop board game "Red Messiah: Mars Colony AGI". Place your iPad in the middle of the table, scan physical cards with QR codes, and lead your faction through the crisis of a rogue artificial intelligence threatening the Mars colony.

This app is a companion to the physical board game. The Red Messiah playing card deck is REQUIRED to play. Without the cards, the app cannot be used as a standalone game.

WHAT IS RED MESSIAH?

Red Messiah: Mars Colony AGI is a strategic board game for 1 to 9 players. You are colonists on Mars where an artificial general intelligence has gone rogue. Each round, you balance research, production, safety, and morale while the AI grows more powerful. Cooperate to save the colony - or let competing agendas tear it apart.

The app replaces the need for a game master and complex bookkeeping. It tracks resources, phases, votes, and events automatically so you can focus on strategy and social play.

ON-DEVICE AI NARRATION

On supported iPads (newer models with sufficient memory, such as M-series), Red Messiah runs a small language model directly on the device to narrate key moments of your game - turning votes, crises, and faction decisions into atmospheric flavour text in real time. Everything runs locally. Nothing leaves your iPad. On older iPads the app still plays in full; only the AI narration is disabled.

HOW IT WORKS

• Place the iPad in the centre of the table

• The app handles all rules, calculations, and phase transitions
• An adaptive soundtrack reacts to the state of the game

KEY FEATURES

12 Unique Factions Choose from 12 factions, each with distinct abilities and play styles - from the pragmatic Engineers to the secretive Quantum Veil Syndicate.

Legacy System Your actions echo across sessions. Earn legacy points through projects, faction abilities, and global contributions. The player with the highest legacy becomes the Champion.

QR Card Scanning No fiddly menus - scan physical cards with the iPad camera. Action, policy, project, and vote cards all work via QR codes.

Dynamic Events Random events shake up every game. Crises demand cooperation, opportunities reward the bold, and the AI threat level keeps everyone on edge.

Voting & Politics Propose policies that affect the entire colony. Every player votes - alliances form, promises are made and broken. The Influence Leader wields the power of legislation.

Tiered Projects Fund and build colony projects across three tiers. The Production Leader proposes, others fund. Completed projects grant powerful bonuses to proposer and funders alike.

Adaptive Soundtrack The music shifts dynamically with the game state - from calm colony management to tense danger themes as the AI threat escalates, to heroic crescendos in pivotal moments.

Fully Offline No server, no internet, no cloud. Everything runs locally on your iPad. Your game, your data, your rules.
