Find, book and share community EV chargers

Charge-Lah is a free community app that connects Malaysian EV drivers with home charger owners across the country.

The app shows home chargers and public stations on one map. You locate the nearest home charger, contact the host with in-app messaging and meet up for charging. The actual location of the charger is not shown to any public user, only an approximate location for privacy and security reasons. Hosts need to approve every booking and both sides rate each other after the session to improve credibility.

There are no payments inside the app. Charging fees are settled directly between host and driver. No commissions, no fees, no middleman.

I built this because there are not enough chargers in rural areas of Malaysia. The gap can be filled by the people who already drive EVs and have home chargers, helping each other out.
