Memoir Lock: Diary

Private Lock now supports Face ID, Touch ID, and device passcode recovery. Keep journal entries encrypted on device and back up to iCloud when you choose.

Memoir Lock is a private, local-first diary for personal memories, secure notes, photos, videos, important dates, and optional iCloud backup. There is no public feed, no stranger community, and no developer-operated server holding your personal content.

PRIVACY BUILT FOR PERSONAL CONTENT • Records, profiles, and media are encrypted on device with AES-GCM • The encryption key is stored in Apple Keychain • Your 6-digit Private Lock stores only a one-way verifier, never a readable passcode • Repeated failed attempts progressively increase the wait time • The app locks in the background and hides its app-switcher preview • If you forget the passcode, verify with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode, then reset it

YOUR DATA, YOUR DECISION • Data stays on your device by default; the developer has no server and cannot view it • Back up to your personal iCloud only when you choose, and restore when needed • Continue as a guest or use Sign in with Apple • Delete local data and personal iCloud backups separately
