KEY TOOLS

Measure distances quickly between two points with Distance mode. Use Polyline mode to trace walls, counters or edges and total multiple segments in one go. Calculate floor space, tabletops or wall sections by outlining surfaces in Area mode. Check corners and slopes with Angle mode. Measure height from floor to any point using Height mode. Use Level mode as a live bubble level when aligning frames, shelves or furniture. Choose from Off, Light or Medium haptic feedback when a point is detected on a surface. Press and hold the main measurement to copy results in metres, centimetres, feet and inches. Share measurement snapshots, save images to your Photos library or export as PDFs. Save to History with preview images and easily search for past measurements on your device. Reopen saved measurements in AR view later with Reopen in AR. Start a new measurement or open the last one using voice shortcuts. Switch modes with confirmation if points are set and undo cleared measurements if needed.

Use Distance mode to check if a sofa, table or rug fits before moving it. Use Polyline mode to measure along skirting boards, countertops or fence lines without manual addition. Use Area mode for planning paint jobs, flooring or furniture layouts by measuring floor or wall areas. Use Height mode to check doorways, plants, shelves or wall features from floor level. Use Level mode when hanging artwork, straightening frames or aligning shelves. Use Angle mode to compare corners, slopes or tilts.

AR Ruler: Distance & Area lets you measure real spaces with your camera and keep all results organised. It brings together six different modes, so you can go from a quick distance check to area calculation, angle measurement, height check or bubble level without switching apps.

Saved measurements are easy to review. History includes preview images, phone search helps you find past entries, and Reopen in AR places you back into saved measurements in their space. If camera access is off, the app guides you to enable it for accurate measuring.

PAID FEATURES

Pro adds Height and Level modes, lets you export PDFs, and reopen supported saved measurements in AR. Core measuring tools are free, but Polyline and Area modes limit points before Pro is needed. Watching an ad grants one free PDF export for 24 hours.

Camera permission is required to place measurement points. Access to photos is only used if you save an image.
