Remember when you opened social media apps in 2012-2015 and just saw your friends' photos? In order? Infotograf is a photo-sharing app, built for people who miss when social media was about connecting with friends — not feeding algorithms.

No algorithm means you decide what,when you see. Your feed is chronological. Posts from people you follow, in the order they shared them. When you've seen everything, we tell you. No infinite scroll, no engagement tricks, no "suggested for you."

Photo DNA ( beta) Every photo has a story on its back. Flip any photo to see how it was taken — camera info, time, location, weather at that moment, and which filter was applied. Photos taken in Infotograf carry a verified origin badge, so you know they're real in an age of AI-generated images.

Ambient Audio Hear the moment, not just see it. Capture environmental sounds — rain on a window, a busy café, ocean waves — and attach them to your photos. Or add a voice note to tell the story behind the shot.

Fediverse Connected ( baked in, toggle on-off) Infotograf speaks ActivityPub. Follow and interact with people on Mastodon, Pixelfed, and other federated platforms without leaving the app. Your social network isn't locked inside one company's walls.
