Forgn brings your ideas, research sources and experiments into one private workspace on your iPhone. Describe a concrete mechanism, investigate related work and build a record you can return to. The app interface is currently in English.

RESEARCH WITH CONTEXT • Run an explicit literature search across Crossref and arXiv. Read the original source and distinguish publication records from preprints. • Keep up to 30 sources and 20 search records per project, including the words searched, date and availability of each service. • Continue in Google Patents, Espacenet or Lens through clearly labelled external links. Forgn does not retrieve patent results in-app.

TURN READING INTO A NEXT STEP • Keep private notes about shared mechanisms, unanswered questions and your next measurable experiment. • Organize projects and a personal archive. Local tools compare mechanisms and show relationships between fields. • Export a recovery copy of your archive, projects and notebooks without a subscription.

SHARE A SMALL DISCOVERY Write a public takeaway and preview a branded progress card before choosing a destination. Only the takeaway and source/search counts appear: private project titles, search terms, source lists and notes are excluded.

FREE AND PRO Project research notebooks, literature searches, progress cards and recovery copies are free. The free archive holds up to 25 entries. Pro adds cross-pollination across your archive, full risk-ordered test plans, an unlimited archive and the daily contradiction. Existing notes remain readable if your subscription ends. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available; the App Store shows the current price, period and any eligible introductory offer before purchase.

YOUR WORKSPACE, YOUR DEVICE No app account or developer-operated backend. Workspace data is stored locally; local analysis works offline. Online searches send your search words and IP address to the selected services, which may retain request logs under their privacy policies. Web clipping contacts the website you choose. Purchases, restoration and optional sharing require the relevant online services.

Forgn is an exploratory research and planning tool. Its local model, literature search and estimates are not a comprehensive prior-art search, proof of novelty, patentability opinion or professional engineering assessment. Check original sources and validate assumptions through testing.
