AGE-AWARE CHECKOUT

Scan supported PDF417 IDs to calculate age locally. Nook flags expired or unreadable IDs and stops ineligible sales before payment. Raw ID data is not stored by the verification flow.

READY FOR THE REAL COUNTER

Nook supports compatible barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, and an optional local card terminal. If connectivity drops, new sales can be saved on the iPad and uploaded when the connection returns. Card processing requires a supported processor, terminal, and network; card refunds are completed outside Nook and recorded in the app.
