Derax offers NFC-based app locking and unlocking services designed to help users establish a "digital detox ritual" through physical interaction, thereby improving focus and mental health.

【Important Permission: Screen Time (Family Controls)】

To implement the "NFC swipe lock/unlock" function, Derax requires access to Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls).

Purpose: This permission allows Derax to restrict or restore access to specific apps after a successful NFC card verification, enabling the locking or unlocking experience.

Privacy and Security: All data within the Block app is stored locally on your device. The Screen Time permission is used solely for local NFC verification and app restriction management; it does not read any personal usage data or upload anything to a server.

How it Works: App restrictions are only applied or removed when you actively perform an NFC swipe. Derax does not monitor your screen activity, track your usage habits, or interfere with your normal phone use.

Necessity: Due to iOS security restrictions, third-party apps cannot directly manage the state of other apps. Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls) is the only approved mechanism for this functionality.

You can review or remove this permission at any time in Settings > Screen Time.
