THE ALMANAC — YOUR KEPT BOOK OF SEASONS At the heart of Vael is the Almanac: the reflective companion to your journal. Where the Journal is your raw, day-by-day record, the Almanac is that same life arranged by the cycles you live by — your seasons and your moons, kept as chapters.

This Chapter locates you in your current season and moon, recalling the matching moment you've returned to before. Earlier Chapters are sealed as each season closes — a quiet, past-tense reflection you can return to, never revised. A gentle timeline traces each chapter's moons, the rhythm of your writing, and the warmth of its mood — facts only, never charts, never advice.

The Almanac never infers cause or meaning from your journal. It tells you what is true about a season and leaves the conclusions to you.

THE JOURNAL — A FORM FOR EVERY ENTRY Fully customize how you capture your thoughts, dreams, gratitudes, meditations, spells & rituals, tarot readings, and prayers. Each entry is tied to a day, so you see not just what you wrote, but under which moon and season.

Your data is stored on-device by default. There are no accounts, no subscription, no tracking, and no external servers.
