Our dogs have been part of our family for ten years. Two years ago, they were diagnosed with cancer and went through a difficult period of treatment. For the first time, my husband and I felt how close goodbye could really be.Saying goodbye to a companion who has been by your side for so long can leave behind a quiet longing and words you never had the chance to say. Memoriq began as we quietly prepared ourselves for that goodbye.Memoriq offers a way to revisit your pet’s presence in a digital space, talk with an AI-generated digital version inspired by your pet, and keep the words and memories you want to hold close.We hope this app becomes a warm way to keep precious memories close, for everyone who has faced goodbye with a beloved pet, and for the two of us, who may one day face that same moment ourselves.
