SignPrep is the essential companion app for sign language interpreters. It supports your entire workflow — before, during, and after every assignment — so you can be prepared, coordinate your work, reflect on your practice, and take care of your well-being.

ASSIGNMENTS Import from your work calendars with smart filtering, or add jobs with a Calendar-style editor. Each assignment shows a live countdown, one-tap directions, an AI pre-briefing when it’s within two hours or ongoing, and a preparation checklist generated by on-device AI.

ONGOING ASSIGNMENT A dedicated page designed to stay open and useful through an assignment. See assignment progress, timing state, the active interpreter, and how much time is left at a glance. Ambient Mode is a calm full-screen view so you and your co-interpreter can keep an eye on swaps without breaking focus.

SWAP TIMER & SWAP CLOCK Coordinate interpreter rotation in the way that fits the assignment. Use Swap Timer for structured intervals with Running, Swap Soon, and Swap Now phases, or use Swap Clock for flexible turn-taking based on the actual clock. Both modes support A/B interpreter roles, clear swap actions, and glanceable Ambient Mode layouts.

APPLE WATCH View assignments and timing state on your wrist. Start or control swap timing from either device — they stay in sync. Manual refresh, complications, and Smart Stack cards help surface what’s coming next, what’s ongoing, or when there’s no active assignment.

WIDGETS, LIVE ACTIVITY & CONTROLS Home Screen widgets show a greeting, upcoming assignments, and CPD progress. Lock Screen widgets display countdown-style information. CPD TRACKING Log continuing professional development hours by activity type. Country-specific defaults for RID, NRCPD, and NAATI — or turn CPD off if it’s not part of your practice.
