Scanner, Rare & Snap Check
Turn every coin and banknote into a story. NumiScan uses advanced AI to identify, grade, and value your collection in seconds.
Identify coins quickly from your camera or photos.
Check the details that matter before you catalogue, buy or trade.
Understand value context without treating an estimate as an appraisal.
Track your collection, wishlist, sale list and swap list in one place.
Turn each scan into a clearer numismatic record.
NumiScan is a coin identifier and numismatic collection tracker for collectors who want useful identification, organised records and practical research prompts. Scan loose coins, add banknote details where supported, and record slabbed or certified items with the facts you need.
Scan and review
Start with the camera or a photo. NumiScan helps you review country, denomination, year, mint, issuer and catalogue reference where available. For supported banknote scans, it can show serial, signature and security details when those signals are available. For slabbed items, save certification details and supported-provider status signals when available, without treating it as a live registry lookup.
Value context
Each result includes confidence, estimated value context and rarity or grade clues to guide what you check next. Use it as a structured starting point, not an official appraisal, grading result or counterfeit guarantee. Compare grade guidance, rescan in better light, add notes and decide when an expert view is worth seeking.
Organise your collection
Save scans to history, collection, wishlist, sale list or swap list. Add notes, acquisition details, purchase cost, source, condition thoughts and extra images. NumiScan works for inherited boxes, album gaps, duplicate checks, fair-day lists and the steady work of building a personal catalogue.
Portfolio and alerts
View your holding by value, category and change over time. Follow value history, movers and breakdowns so you can see which areas need attention. Create local alert rules for saved items and watchlist targets, including target price and grade goals.
Wantlist and hunt mode
Set targets before a shop visit, show, auction preview or tray search. Record the grade you want, the price you would be comfortable with and the notes that help you compare similar pieces. Hunt mode keeps the next gap in your set visible while you scan, review and decide.
Export and backup
Export CSV, PDF, image ZIP files or a backup when you need your data outside the app. Use exports for personal records, spreadsheet review, collection sharing or keeping a second copy of your work. Reports are convenient records, not insurance-ready official documents.
Who it is for
NumiScan suits coin collectors, banknote enthusiasts, metal detectorists, antique shoppers, auction browsers, inherited collection organisers and anyone returning to numismatics after years away. It is quick enough for casual checks and structured enough for regular collecting.
Simple workflow
Scan the item, check the proposed identification, review confidence and available details, then save it to the right place. Add acquisition notes, compare grade clues, rescan if the image is unclear, and file it under collection, wishlist, sale list or swap list. Over time, your scans become a searchable record.
Free and Premium
The free version includes a daily scan limit, so you can try the workflow at your own pace. Premium unlocks unlimited scans and deeper portfolio/watchlist workflows for collectors who scan regularly, manage more items or want a fuller view of their collection.
NumiScan is deliberately practical: it helps you remember what you checked, why a coin matters, which pieces need better images, and which targets still belong on your list. Use it before a club night, while reviewing a dealer tray, or when sorting coins at home.
