PERSONAL UV GUIDANCE ▸ See current UV, risk level, a burn-time estimate and recommended SPF together. ▸ Check cloud cover, temperature, humidity and wind through Apple WeatherKit when available. ▸ Use hourly UV, a seven-day forecast, sunrise/sunset and protection-window guidance to plan ahead. ▸ Keep core guidance available with a clear-sky solar estimate when live data is unavailable.

SUN SESSIONS & JOURNAL ▸ Start a session, leave the screen and return while the timer keeps running. ▸ Record duration, location snapshot, starting/peak/average UV, SPF and sunscreen state. ▸ Add notes and one optional local photo to a completed session. ▸ Review weekly facts, a recorded-day calendar and unlimited session history—without exposure goals or tanning targets.

REMINDERS, PLACES & DEVICES ▸ Set UV threshold alerts and sunscreen reapplication reminders. ▸ Swipe between your current position and saved places. ▸ Use the Apple Watch app to check UV at a glance. ▸ Optional Pro unlock adds Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, trip planning and custom morning/evening notifications.

PRIVACY & SAFETY Session photos remain in the app's local storage. The app does not analyze or upload them, and deleting a session also deletes its photo. Optional anonymous product events and crash diagnostics can be disabled in Settings. Advertising providers may process a device identifier according to your consent and the privacy policy.

Burn times, vitamin D estimates and protection suggestions are estimates, not medical advice. Actual UV and skin response vary with cloud, ozone, reflection, application quality and individual factors. Use shade, clothing, sunglasses and broad-spectrum sunscreen as appropriate.
