Features & Capabilities

Keep your watch collection private on-device with trusted reference time, an independently arranged Watch Box, sortable editable wear logs, insights, and exports.

Watchism is a privacy-first iPhone app for people who care about trustworthy time and the watches they live with.

The Clock gives you a disciplined local reference time built from traditional NTP, HTTPS Date, or Roughtime as the selected primary source, followed by enabled fallback methods in a visible consultation order. Watchism keeps uncertainty visible, shows the active reference source, and helps you understand how much precision the app can honestly defend.

The Watches area is an on-device collection workspace for documenting watches, organizing photos, maintaining a wishlist, and recording timing observations. You can add watches manually, attach photos from the camera or photo library, crop images while preserving originals, and review measurements in a way that stays grounded in the actual reference clock.

Watchism also helps you understand your collection over time. Track wear logs, open Wear Insights for 30-day, 180-day, and all-time views by watch, weekday, and rotation balance, and keep archival context for pieces that have left the collection. Private pricing and valuation history can be grouped by currency, with amounts hidden when you want the summary without exposing the numbers. Wishlist entries stay separate from owned-watch timing workflows and instead focus on acquisition priority and research.

Built-in browser tools make it easy to save interesting watches you discover online, attach brand imagery to watches you already own, and carry forward useful page context into your notes. Metadata suggestions are best-effort and on-device where possible, with the user always in control of the final saved record.

Privacy is the point, not a footnote. Watch data, measurements, photos, layouts, saved zones, and boutique notes stay on-device. Watchism does not use analytics, ad SDKs, or hidden telemetry. Network access is limited to configured reference-time endpoints for the selected primary source and any enabled fallback sources such as NTP, HTTPS Date, or Roughtime, plus explicit user actions such as opening watch websites or importing a selected browser image.

Whether you want a trustworthy reference clock, a serious watch vault, or both in one place, Watchism is built to stay clear, honest, and local.

User Reviews

The best app for your collection. I am using it for a few weeks now and it is so easy. From adding your collection to tracking your wear log. The timer feature is unique to me, haven’t seen that on other apps!

I love having my collection organized in a digital watch box. Watchism makes it easy to share, connect, and engage with the watch community. I also appreciate being able to curate the future of my collection, track my interests over time, and use the reference clock as a practical tool alongside the vault features. It is a thoughtful app for anyone who wants to be more engaged in the watch world.
