PCM → DSD

Mossca can convert PCM music to DSD in real time. With a dedicated DSD modulation and playback path, PCM music can be played as DSD through a supported external DAC. Enjoy rich detail with a more refined, warm, and easy-listening sound presentation.

Native DSD & External DAC

Supports: • DSD (DSF / DFF) • DSD64 – DSD512 • DoP output • Hi-Res PCM • External USB DACs Mossca selects the appropriate playback path according to the audio format, device capabilities, and output conditions. If the target DSD rate exceeds DAC support, Mossca can automatically fall back to a nearby DSD rate supported by the hardware. Specially optimized for portable DACs, desktop DACs, and Hi-Res music collections.

Signal Path

Mossca’s Signal Path shows the actual playback chain, including: • Original audio format • Original sample rate • Current audio processing • Output sample rate • PCM / DSD status • Output device From the music file to the final DAC, you can clearly see how the audio is being processed.
