AnuLaya is a practice companion for Hindustani music. It plays songs with lyrics and melody as well as tabla compositions, so singers, instrumentalists, and tabla players can all practise from one library. The same library lives at www.anulaya.ai: what you create, listen to, or record on the web is there in the app, and the other way round.

SONGS Follow scrolling lyrics while the melody and tabla play on one clock. Switch the notation between sargam and bols, choose the melody instrument, add a lehra for the song's taal, set the tempo and Sa, and loop the piece. Record a private take while you sing or play, listen back, and share it with your class when you are ready.

TABLA Browse compositions by taal and category, play them at any tempo, and follow the beat-aligned grid in Roman or Devanagari script. Record yourself against the metronome and lehra, keep the cycles you want, and post a clip to your class. Section practice lets you drill one part of a composition at a time.

LEHRA A dedicated Lehra tab plays a repeating melody for open-ended riyaaz: pick the taal, raag, and tempo. Santoor, sitar, and harmonium are sampled from real instruments, and the same sounds play on the web.

CLASSES AND TEACHERS Join a class with an invite code to reach your teacher's compositions, playlists, and plans. Teachers publish assignments with a target tempo, review the recordings and takes students share, and reply with comments. There is no automatic score: feedback comes from a person listening.

PRACTICE Your history, calendar, playlists, and tools live in the Practice tab, including listening time from the web. Follow a teacher's public playlist to receive their additions automatically.
