A private mileage logbook that lives on your phone. Log drives in seconds, organise by purpose, export a structured report whenever you need it.

Drives you don't log can't be claimed at tax time. Klomio is a private mileage tracker for anyone who drives for work. Log business trips with GPS, export deductible-mileage reports, keep every drive on record. Encrypted on-device. No account, no cloud sync.

Built because I wanted to track my business drives for tax without uploading them to a cloud, and without giving up Waze for some clunky in-app navigation.

WHAT KLOMIO DOES • Tap a saved place or search any address. Klomio opens your favourite navigation app and tracks the drive in the background via GPS. • On arrival, Klomio detects you have arrived and saves the trip automatically. For Track Only drives (no destination set), save with one tap. Distance, route, and time are captured either way. • Klomio handles round trips: log the outbound, drive home, and the return leg merges into a single round-trip record. • Export a monthly PDF or CSV for your accountant. Generate an annual tax report covering every business drive of the year, ready to attach to a tax filing.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Trip data is encrypted with AES-256 on your device. Your route history never leaves your phone. • No account. No sign-up. No cloud sync. No analytics. No tracking SDKs. • Address search runs through Google Maps Places, which Google operates under their privacy policy; Klomio's developers do not log or retain the queries you type. Reverse geocoding for trip endpoints uses Nominatim (OpenStreetMap). • Backup file is unencrypted on purpose so you can read it yourself. It's the same data the app stores, exported as JSON, never sent anywhere.

REPORTS • Monthly PDF: trip log, total distance, total claim, breakdown by trip type and vehicle. • CSV export: every field as a column for spreadsheet analysis. • Annual tax report: by-month summary, by-trip-type summary, by-vehicle-type summary, full trip log, signed declaration line. • Reports include the standard fields required for business mileage claims in most jurisdictions: date, distance, route, trip purpose, and vehicle.
