Write five entries in a single week and they form a constellation automatically. A cluster of stars that marks the week and becomes a milestone in your stats. Weeks become constellations. YOUR SKY GROWS WITH YOU

In the first week, your sky holds a handful of scattered stars. By the end of a month, you can swipe through four constellations and begin to see the shape of your weeks. After a few months, the sky becomes something you did not expect: a visual diary you can explore, search, and sit with. Tapping any star opens the entry behind it. The further back you scroll, the more your sky tells you about who you were and how you felt.

THE MOOD SYSTEM

Nightbook begins with six default moods: Inspired, Happy, Calm, Reflective, Thoughtful, and Passionate. Each one carries its own emoji and colour. When you tag an entry, that mood becomes the colour of your star. Over time, your sky fills with the palette of your emotional life. You can see at a glance which weeks were bright and warm, which were cool and contemplative. If the defaults do not fit, create your own mood tags using any emoji and any colour that feels right. Your emotional vocabulary is yours to shape.

DESIGNED FOR NIGHT

Nightbook is dark by design. There is no light mode. The interface was built for low light, late hours, and the particular stillness that arrives when the world goes quiet. The colours are soft. The typography is gentle on tired eyes. Ambient sound layers in subtle atmosphere while you write. Haptic feedback makes each entry feel tangible. Everything about the experience is tuned for the end of the day, when your thoughts are settling and the screen is the only light in the room.
